Dr. Brecht Put

Biography

Dr. Brecht Put is a researcher working at imec in the Energy Storage team. He received his Ph.D. degree in Physics at KU-Leuven (Belgium) in 2015, working on the characterization of nanoscale coatings for thin film battery materials. Before joining imec in 2016, he spent one and a half year as a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University Eindhoven successfully developing atomic layer deposition of solid-state battery materials for micro-batteries. Dr. Put has (co)authored 10 scientific publications. Currently he is working on composite electrode and electrolyte coatings for Li-ion batteries.
