Biography

Thalaya Al-Fozan is the IT Director at the College of Science, and a faculty member in the College of Computer Science & Engineering at Kuwait University. Dr. Al-Fozan is also an IT Consultant at the Ministry of Finance (MOF) of the State of Kuwait. Building on his technical background, Dr. Thalaya has worked for eighteen years as an IT consultant where he handled a range of diverse systems, applications, and other IT infrastructures with support tasks that involved a variety of different clients and technical environments. He has a vast depth of knowledge and a profound work experience in Project Management, Software Development, Database Design, Business Process Modeling, Workflow Automation, and Technical Training. Dr. Thalaya has a Ph.D. in Cognitive and Computing Sciences from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom. And, he obtained his Masters of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Oregon, USA. He is also a Certified Microsoft Professional.
