Biography

Aaron Chow is a Research Scientist in the Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Fluid Mechanics at MIT (2008), S.M. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from MIT (2004), and Sc.B. in Chemical Engineering from Brown University (2000). His current research is focused on the numerical study of the effects of future sea level rise on coastal infrastructure. His past studies have focused on experimental and computational modeling of the fate and transport of buoyant contaminant discharges into the marine environment, both as an academic and as an environmental engineering consultant for litigation support in the USA.
