Dr. Naser Burahmah, received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee (UTK), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. His current research interests include accelerator-based experiments and cross section measurements in space radiation transport and medical isotope production. He has experience in radiation transport model calculations using PHITS and MCNP, gamma spectroscopy analysis, and chemical separation using ion exchange chromatography. His work included producing isotopes for Targeted Alpha Therapy. Nasser was member of a collaborative project between ORNL, UTK, and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL), which was funded by DOE. He received the nuclear security science and analysis certificate at UTK. Dr Burahmah attended the summer fellow at the European Space Agency (ESA) and Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR) space radiation school, Germany. He was, also, part of the Target Design, Analysis, and Qualification group at Oak Ridge National Lab (ORNL).
