Under the Patronage of H.E. Sheikha Aida Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of H.H. Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award, and co-sponsored by the United States of America Embassy- Kuwait, KFAS is holding The Promise of Artificial Intelligence: Present and Future Symposium, this fall on the week of Nov 19-21, at Kuwait University, President Building, Gate 2, Hall 119, Khaldiya.

The evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is exemplifying the reality of Science Fiction. The rapidly growing fields of artificial intelligence, advance machine learning, and supercomputing devices is amplifying Human Ingenuity. The future superintelligence will transfer technologies from machine learning to machine sensing and comprehending. The legacy of Artificial Intelligence will have a profound impact on a wide range of social and economic approaches.

The event will focus on three pillars:
AI is Advancing Science and Technology: the first pillar is dedicated to presenting how AI is advancing science and technology to new frontiers. The session will explore the advances in algorithms and technology for Big Data, advanced computational biology and Bioinformatics, and machine learning current efforts and future outlooks.

AI is Changing our Lives Profoundly: this session will showcase success stories of AI innovations impacting our social and professional identities. The session will highlight success stories of fascinating human ingenuity looking at AI implementations stories in local and international context.

AI is Shaping the Future of Education: the last day will focus on advances in artificial intelligence and its crucial role in bringing the future of education to the next level.
