The program



Registration for the talk is full and closed. No registration is required for the meet and greet with Sophia the robot on Thursday and Friday.

This event is a two-day event; you get the chance to meet Sophia the Robot and her developer Dr David Hanson who will through our KFAS Links talk about robotics and AI and how it contributes to space voyages and explorations.

This talk will take place as part of the Scientific Centre's Space Month, a month long event focusing on space with the main theme of the moon landing and space exploration. On the first day, a KFAS Links lecture will be delivered by Dr Hanson and Sophia the Robot about the topic of "Robotics and the Future". They will talk about the latest technology and outlook for Robotics and AI and how this technology helps us navigate the space.

The KFAS Links lecture will take place in the IMAX theatre at the Scientific Center on Thursday 24th October, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 7: 30 PM. Sophia the Robot will be on display in the Central Court to interact with visitors from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

On the second day Friday 25th October, Sophia the Robot will engage with The Scientific Center visitors from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
