Dr. Sami Mahroum will explore start-ups that have thrived against all odds in places where start-up success was deemed to be unlikely. In his talk titled “Why Do Organizations Innovate and How” he will be discussing a number of technology start-ups from around the world that have succeeded in unlikely places.

Dr. Mahroum is a Senior Lecturer and the Director of INSEAD Innovation & Policy Initiative. Over the course of his career, he has worked as a researcher, a policy analyst, and an advisor in half a dozen countries.

The talk is open to the public and will be presented in Arabic.
