Large companies find themselves under tremendous pressure to discover new ways to grow and ensure rapid innovation. Not surprisingly, corporate venturing activities (CVA) are often at the top of boards and top executives' agenda. After 5 years of an explosion of many corporations investing heavily in building teams and experimenting with different models it is time to ask: Is corporate venturing an effective tool to identify valuable opportunities and build new businesses? If so- what do best practices look like to make it work? What is the best way forward?

It is time to examine the different models and approaches that companies use to create new businesses (startups) and become active contributors to their respective country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. We will take a closer look at CVCs (Corporate Venture Capital), Venture Client model and possibly Venture Building.
