Overview

Talent management is about making sure that you have the right people in the right place at the right time. A Talent Strategy is a plan about how you will ensure you have the appropriate talent, a plan that also fits with the goals of your employees, the activities of your competitors and the practices and processes that you put in place to manage your people.

In this session, we will discuss the different kinds of strategies that companies adopt to secure the talent that they need and the pros and cons that they entail. We will also discuss the different factors that can affect the kind of talent strategy that makes sense for a given organization, and the behaviors that are necessary to make each strategy a success. The goal is to help participants to think through the choices that they make around staffing roles, and how those choices can be optimized.
