Eng. Ghosson Al Khaled

Deputy CEO of ACICO Industries Company

Strategic & Operational Leader for ACICO Group

Mrs. Al Khalid is currently holding the position of a Deputy CEO of ACICO Industries Company, the largest manufacturer of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete in the Middle East. She is involved in directing a one-billion-dollar asset company with a turnover of 300 million dollars. In addition to Kuwait, ACICO Industries is currently operating in Saudi, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates. In September 2017, Mrs. Al-Khalid was appointed as a member to the Supreme Council for Planning and Development in Kuwait. Her role on the council is to contribute to the development of the nation, and towards the accomplishments of Kuwait’s 2035 goals, which aim to enhance the country’s regional and global presence through further development and investments in human capital, public administration, infrastructure, healthcare, economy, and the living environment.

Mrs. Al-Khalid has received several accolades for her accomplishments. In 2012 and 2013, she was selected as one of The Most 100 Powerful Arabian Women by the Arabian Business Magazine. In 2014, Forbes Magazine recognized her as one of The Most 200 Powerful Arab Women. In 2015, Mrs. Al-Khalid was selected as one of the Most Influential Arabs Under 40 Years by Arabian Business magazine, and she was also, once again, selected as one of The Most Powerful 100 Arab Women by Forbes magazine. In 2017, she made the list to The Top 100 Most Powerful Arab Businesswomen by Forbes Middle East and was also selected among the 100 World’s Most Influential Arabs by Arabian Business Magazine. She was also selected to be among the Young Global Leaders by the World Economic Forum, making her the only Kuwaiti national selected to join a community of a 5-year leadership journey that aims to tackle the world’s most complex and pressing challenges.

Mrs. Al-Khalid received her Executive Masters of Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, a Masters of Building Science from the University of Southern California, and her Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from Kuwait University.
