In this seminar, Professor J Han and his team from MIT in collaboration with Professor Bader Al-Anzi from Kuwait University will share their findings of a multi-pronged investigation to derive novel solutions.

This event is a public dissemination outcome of Kuwait-MIT signature project focused on highly-efficient-electrical desalination of saline water in Kuwait. generating power using saline water and wastewater, converging aims and to concurrently recover energy from brine and wastewater while reducing salinity of coastal discharge. The final aim of this project is to improve reliability of these technologies through optimization.
