OBJECTIVES

1. Present the global theories, discuss the data, and identify the threats to the region.
2. Build a regional network with international partnership to address these global concerns.
3. Drafting recommendations for research strategies, and mitigation/adaptation policies.

THEMES

To achieve the conference objectives, four major themes are proposed:

1. The science of global and regional climate change model and research.
2. Impacts on sea level rise, sea temperature, and acidification on human welfare.
3. Recommendations for research strategies and mitigation/adaptation policies and action plans.
4. Engagement of the civil society towards developing a more effective enhanced outreach.
